Our Associate conducts investigations and provides expert reports, witness testimony, and technical and cost evaluations for a wide variety of environmental contamination issues, including hazardous, nuclear, and solid waste site exposure problems. He is highly trained and experienced in pollution occurrence, control, and cleanup; litigation support and dispute-settlement assistance; and risk communication, community relations, and technical support.
His technical experience includes Innovative/Expedited Site Characterization; Removal and Containment Actions, In-situ Treatment and Bioremediation; Stabilization, Ground Water and Soil Vapor Extraction; and Monitored Natural Attenuation.
He has assisted a variety of clients on numerous projects involving environmental contamination and toxic torts, including the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Browning Ferris Industries, Booz Allen & Hamilton, ENVIRON Corporation, Woodward Clyde Federal Services, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources, and the District of Columbia Department of Health.
He has supported insurers and legal firms as well as state and U.S. government agencies, to include the Departments of Justice and Defense. He has also served as a technical advisor at contaminated EPA Superfund Sites; Army, Navy and Air Force installations; and the DOE’s Brookhaven National Laboratory. He has also been accepted as an expert witness and technical expert by several courts.
His credentials include:
- Trained Hydrologist since 1981
- BS degree in Geology, University of Maryland; MS degree in Ground Water Hydrology, University of Idaho
- Registered Geologist in Pennsylvania and Wyoming
- Certified Professional Geologist of the American Institute of Professional Geologists
- Member of the Board of Directors and Technical Committee Chairman, Hazardous Waste Action Coalition (1995-1998)
